Perfume Bottle Design

This project was completed for a class, Digital Solid Modeling. The challenge was to create a perfume bottle for a company that doesn't currently sell perfume. I created a perfume bottle as if it would be for the coffee company Starbucks.  I drew inspiration from their logo, their cups, and the design of their stores.  I ended up with a simple design, reminiscent of a Starbucks coffee cup. I was able to bring in the feel of the brand by using wood detailing, similar to the wood accents very prevalent in Starbucks stores, and their signature green color. Below are some initial sketches, some renderings of my Solidworks file done in Keyshot, some in-context renderings mimicking Starbucks advertisement, and pictures on the final physical model.  The physical model was made with four pieces of laser cut acrylic layered and held together with clear packing tape. The details on the bottle were also made on the laser cutter and then painted or stained. The spray nozzle was 3D printed and spray painted. Finally, the center tube was a piece of thick transparent string glued to the spray nozzle.
